Against Jev is about taking on the same AI opponent across different kinds of games. The rules may change, but the challenge stays personal: can you figure Jev out and find a way to win?
A good plan in one game might get you nowhere in another. That’s what makes the idea interesting: different games ask different things of both you and Jev. Each challenge starts with the same invitation. Give it a go. See who comes out ahead.
The first game: chess
Jev makes the call.
Chess is the first available game. Jev receives the current position, the move history, and the legal moves available. It chooses a move, and the game checks that choice before putting it on the board. No Stockfish evaluations or chess-engine recommendations guide its decisions.
How strong is it at chess? That’s an open question. Chess games here are currently unrated and untimed, and Jev has no established Elo on this site. The board is where you can form your own impression.
